PORTAL is a Non-Profit Corporation made possible by your contributions as well as the time volunteered by all of our members.
What We Do
The purpose of this organization is to further leadership abilities, team building skills and positive social skills through live action role-playing in a good and lawful medieval fantasy setting.
We strive to involve all interested adults in this endeavor and through it build character and provide a healthy recreational outlet for all members, while being a positive influence for the community.

PORTALCash
PORTALCash (aka PCash) can be used to offset the cost of PORTAL Events.
One PORTALCash is the equivalent of one dollar.
Play Credits
Every time you PC your character (except the very first time you PC), you are required use Play Credits. The amount of Play Credits required for each event varies. Please see each Event’s description to find out how many Play Credits are required.
The most common way to earn Play Credits is to NPC an Event (Standard Duration) from time to time.
Standard Event Duration is 6 Continuous Skill Cycles, Inclusive.
PORTAL will have special events that do not require a Play Credit to participate. Any player that travels more than 200 miles to attend an Event does not require a Play Credit to participate.
Portal (Service) Points
A player can do many things with their Portal Points such as buy In Game items, guarantee a successful Resurrection, receive Spell Defenses or In Game money!
There may be times In Game that a player may be offered to buy items, scrolls and components for Service Points. This transaction is In Game and the player must find these people In Game.

Joe Furi & Noelle Furi are the Executive Directors of PORTAL.
Marshals
A Marshal is a person that has volunteered to help PORTAL function and make the experience more enjoyable for all.
Marshals are Out of Game referees that help to answer questions, settle disputes, and ensure that everyone is complying with PORTAL rules and policies.
The different types of Marshals and their responsibilities are explained below!
Types of Marshals
The different types of Marshals and their responsibilities are as follows:
Rules – Rules Marshals are authorized to answer questions and settle disputes regarding any PORTAL rules and policies.
Adventure – Adventure Marshals are the folks that oversee the activities of adventuring.
NPC – NPC Marshals assist Plot Marshals in running the NPC area in such as manner that all NPCs are costumed, armed, armored, given treasure, and assigned an NPC character that they know how to play.
They are familiar with all aspects of the PORTAL rules system and have a limited authorization to created and send various NPC character’s In Game.
Plot – Plot Marshals create and oversee all In Game activities. They create and control all of the non PC elements of the In Game environment.
Arms – Arms Marshals perform all safety checks on weapons and armor to ensure that they comply with PORTAL rules and are safe to be used In Game. They assign points for new armor pieces.
Combat – Combat Marshals oversee and enforce all combat rules and policies as well as administering combat certifications.
Parking – Parking Marshals ensure that everyone is parking where they should. They also give directions and general information about the camp to new arrivals as needed.
Player Representatives
Player Reps are available for the membership to contact outside of events!
Answer questions, respond to concerns, and mediate member disputes.
